I wanted to do a last DoD movie so here it is. I tried to showcase a mix of known players with some unsung ones who I think hold their own well in the movie and deserved a little spotlight
I wanted to finish it before I moved since I'm not sure if I'll be able to upload stuff after so the intro and credits aren't special. It also doesn't have special effects and the screen doesn't turn red and black and it doesn't zoom on the top right of the screen after each kill, but that's more of a personnal style than a lack of time. I tried to do interesting transitions still in some places by making clips kinda flow in one another, but theyre more based on sound and footage than effects and maybe I'm the only one who sees them
In other news, I managed to delete DoD by accident while deleting bitmaps, right before I had to go in-game to do my very last clip haha. Then filefront crashed 4 times on me at mid-upload. If you see a defenseless baby seal with a missing throat, you'll know why
Anyhow, the movie features:
Mike 'mare' Ballein Chad 'chad' Breau Mike 'can0' Cano Gian-Luca 'togglez' Casella Ivan 'vasily' Cheng Guy 'Raving Rabbi' Chriqui Jordan 'cableguy' Fenton Andrew 'fluxx' Gardner Eric 'Meerkat' Hutchings Stefan 'ForZaZZ' Kirkaarrd (forgot to credit him in the movie D:) Christian 'ZeGermans' Koebel Nicholas 'e`man' Koehler Michael 'gHanDi' Lacroix Kyle 'lars' Larsen Clint 'ace' Lunde Colin 'toe jam' McDonald Steve 'ProFiction' Miller Rickard 'saider' Persson Todd 'phox' Riffel Kellen 'kellen' Rust Brandon 'Likwid' Shults John 'Hudson' Simpson Eric 'Mantis' Touchette Jack 'jacKs' Tremaine Sakari 'Kroaatti' Tuokkola Kyle 'proxx' Zahn
Thanks to all the lads who submitted and sorry to those who didn't make it or who's clips were cut short. I had to fit stuff with the song and sometimes little room was left so I had to chop-chop in some places even if the footage was bloody good. You can always submit to KBC, if Zycer made in in KBC2, you can too! ;)
the only thing i thought could of made it better was using 2 songs instead of one long song, but that is such a small detail, this movie is great with its frags and clean editting. the credits and intro was new and nice to see. dont stop making movies mantis. btw, this is a great example of what everyone should try and aim for when making a movie, common sense runs deep in this one.
This movie is simply amazing. Like maddox said, common sence makes this one a keeper. I don't think I have ever seen a movie maker like mantis sync footage so much in the same movie. Also he's one of the few people that I know that uses the same band in every movie he makes like I almost do.
Nicely done by Mantis. The only issues here are the fact that there are demos from cal-im matches or tpg lower matches that shouldn't be in there. Lower tier streaks really shouldn't count because almost any cal-m+ player can join a cal-o team and put up 100 kills without trying. Another issue is the fact that cableguy's online recoil is definately not like his onlan recoil, and that should be checked out.
#genetic || #solution || While jerking off, I am so old, I have to watch man porn to get off.
